Introduction

Simple but secure PayPal BuyNow support.

I wanted a simple way to be able to sell single items from a web site that used PayPal (ideal if your gross sales are fairly small) "Buy Now" buttons (where users buy a single item at a time as opposed to adding to a shopping basket/cart). I also wanted to use encrypted buttons so sneaky users couldn't adjust the price. I also wanted it to work for DNN 3. I couldn't find something that suited so I wrote one instead. It does just what I wanted so I thought I'd make it available (very cheaply) in case it was just what others wanted as well.

How to Use

Install the module just like any other DNN module.

Add the PSof.PayPalBuyNow module to the page you want (you can put multiple PSof.PayPalBuyModules in a single page if you like). Adjust the Module title to be what you want. You should then see something like:-

Now go to the PayPal web site (sign up if you haven't already) and create your BuyNow button (creating an encrypted one is recommended). Select the generated HTML code e.g.:-

and paste it into the PSof.PayPalBuyButton Edit window. You should also create a description of your product (you can include images etc.) and your PSof.PayPalBuyButton Edit window will look something like:-

Click on Update and your product is ready to buy and will look something like:-

It's as simple as that.

Note: The actual button image you see will depend on which PayPal button image you selected during your PayPal Buy Now button creation.
